Virtual IME Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA): Sister Circle

Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA), or the Sisterhood, is meant to be a place for womxn of color to come together, share their lived experiences, and support one another throughout our journey in the academy.

Sister circles are support systems that have been used in other contexts for Black womxn to work through the ins and outs of their daily lives. Join SEA as we continue that rich tradition here. This meeting we will check in with one another and talk through what’s been going on in our lives. As always, we aim to provide affirmation, validation, and support as we work through our academic journey.
