An invitation to our Black Graduate scholars:
Join us in this safe, virtual space to talk about Black joy and resilience as protective factors to reduce the negative impacts that Black Graduate students may experience during their scholarly pursuits.
Areas of discussion and sharing will include but not limited to:
- Social support
- Cultural pride
- Sense of belonging by interacting and creating community with those from a similar cultural background
- Centering your well-being
- Resources on campus designed to assist Black students to adapt, making a positive difference in your adjustment and emotional well-being
