VIRTUAL: Carolina F1RSTS Advocates Training for Graduate Students

We are hosting a Carolina Firsts Advocates Training for graduate students this Spring 2020 on Monday, March 23rd from 2-3:30pm through Zoom. The training provides participants with an opportunity to learn more about supporting undergraduate first-generation college students at UNC. To participate in this training, please register here. Once you have registered for the training, you will receive the Zoom meeting link.
The training will include:
- An overview of the experiences of first-generation college students at Carolina
- A discussion of barriers to college completion
- A discussion of factors linked to college persistence and completion
- University resources
