Join us for the first First-Gen Friday of the year!
This will be an afternoon of yummy appetizers and good conversations with other first-generation grad students. New and returning students are welcome. We will also be sharing upcoming events you won’t want to miss!
First-Gen Fridays are a monthly social event for first-generation graduate students at UNC. Come out to enjoy the company of your first-gen peers from across the university, while enjoying free appetizers. This is a great chance to meet new people, share wisdom and advice as first-gen students, and unwind from the daily stresses of grad school.
