Friday, August 31st from 12-1:30pm at the Graduate Student Center, 211A West Cameron Ave
What do I need to know about the American culture and expectations in the classroom and research settings at UNC? This session will include an overview of the Academic and Professional Development workshops and the PITAP (Preparing International Teaching Assistants Program) course. Staff from the Writing Center (for ESL Courses/Groups) and University Library Resources will also present information about how their offerings can be of benefit to you.

The Global Grads Information Sessions are for you to gather more information and resources that will help in your transition to student life at UNC. It’s also an opportunity for you to continue to reconnect with the Global Grads staff and your fellow new international graduate students who are all going through a similar transition experience. Registration is required for these sessions!
