Brotherhood of Success (BOS) – Revived!
This empowerment group for men of color in graduate/professional programs and postdocs at UNC is back ready to tackle this academic year.

At this meeting we will discuss how programming should look this year (potential topics, meeting structure, meeting locations). Last year, we discussed academic culture, self-doubt, what success is, and impostor phenomenon among other topics. This year, we are excited to chart a new course that meets the needs identified at this meeting. Lunch will be provided, so please register to attend and come prepared to discuss the following prompts regarding BOS:
- What did you enjoy about past events?
- What can be improved this year?
- How can attendance and events be improved?
- What do you need to be successful at UNC?
