VIRTUAL DSS Workshop: Above Average Money Management
Monday, July 13, 2020 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm
REGISTRATION is required. The Zoom link will be emailed to you the day of the webinar.
People love to talk about investing and retiring, but the sad truth is there are 40,000,000 American households without retirement savings. The average annual social security payment is $17,640. That amount is less than the costs of Carolina’s annual out of state tuition and fees.
Your pursuit of your graduate degree began with the end in mind. Your goal has been to receive a diploma in your desired field of study. Once you achieve success, your next step will be to monetize your expertise. Now is a great time to learn the skills necessary to ensure your financial health and well-being. Every student at Carolina is above average in their academic pursuits. This webinar will help you create a framework to become above average in your money management skills.
Start with the end in mind. Develop healthy money habits that will allow you to enjoy your working years and your retirement.
Participants will learn:
- How to create a budget reflective of their lifestyle
- How to give every dollar they earn a purpose
- How to reduce unnecessary spending
- How to pay down debt strategically
