WE RISE focuses on the retention and the successful graduation of our racially/ethnically diverse graduate students through creating a CommUNITY of Excellence.

How We Create Student Success

Engage

We build cohesive and supportive network through programming opportunities and peer mentoring. WE RISE provides programming opportunities, including professional development seminars and social activities.

Empower

We bring together student-led affinity groups in a safe space for support and encouragement. These groups include the following:

  • Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Grads
  • Brotherhood of Success (BOS)
  • Latine Graduate & Professional Student Association (LGPSA)
  • Sisterhood of Empowerment in Academe (SEA)
